After a supposed taxi wreck, her family dies, She wakes up in a Hospital. Return airline ticket, passport, and belongings are being held until Hospital bill is paid. Any of this ring a bell to anyone?

Theres more to this one. She claims to have went to the American embassy only to be turned away, She says they told her there was nothing to be done, it's the law over there. I find it hard to believe Americans would turn away their own over a $500.00 hospital bill. Well I humored this one and called her. It turns out she may be a He pretending to be a women and playing the part of the Doctor as well. We contacted the Doctor, Ask if we could talk to her before sending the money, at first he wouldn't hear of it, but finally we got through to him. "she" sounded like someone trying to change their voice. We ask why her voice was strange, she said she had a cold (instead of getting pissed) I think we've figured this one out. We were just curious. But beware of this one. I'd sure feel bad if I was all wrong on this.

I think its a scam because she's been contacting people on Yahoo Answers since last month.If she really is stuck there why doesn't she go to the American Embassy there?

Okay, NO but why what can of answer do you need. I had a relative that was stuck in the middle east because of his hotel bills he could not pay. The Govt, in the counrty he was in took his belongings and passport. Until he pays them back. So this Mimi brown will have to do the same contact family who can help somehow. HOpe that helps.
