Me and my husband are trying to have a baby but I am not pregnant yet. My mother gave me a home remedy of walking backwards in a circle 5 times and jumping up and down 5 times under a full moon. I just don't think that it is going to work. Is there any other home remedy's that anyone can suggest for me?

What your mom told you is an old wives tale! Sometimes it works and somtimes it doesnt. Some people say that taking prenatal vitamins can help, but I dont know about that. I would just time it around your ovulation periods and keep trying. Most women are fertal 1 week before their period and 1week after. GOOD LUCK and may you be blessed with a child who is healthy and wonderful.

HI I AM IN THE SAME BOAT BUT MY PROBLEM IS THE EPO SHOT,,,,EWWW IT MAKES ME SOO MAD!!!

NO, OF COURSE WE ALL KNOW THAT REMEDY WOULDNT WORK BUT YOU COULD TRY JUST FOR YOUR MOTHERS SAKE!!

I would say do some planning and when you would try and conceive and keep up with your cycles then open a trying to conceive journal on babycenter.com, they are the best.

then set some time up every other day and relax with your hubby discussing the trying to conceive methods, you would like to try. - there are really no home remedies-!

I would keep up with my cycles and then on every day that I ovulated-have sex- on that day maybe twice each day in your estimated ovulation days!
this will give you a 90% chance of getting the job done!! just have sex on all of the estimated days you are suppossed to ovulate.

have fun!!!!

lotza baby dust to you!!!!

I don't know about your mom's method, but it can't hurt.

My doctor's suggestion was: Every other day for 7-8 days beginning 12 days after the start of your last period. I got pregnant by the 3rd month the first time. Even faster after than.

Hi! Work out when your next period will start. Count back 14 days and have sex two days before that. Have sex every second day for about a week. The sperm stays in your body for plus minus 48 hours so you have a good shot every 2 days. Try avoiding sex for 3 days before that fertile period as they say the sperm "functions" better after abstinence of 3 days! Good luck and all the best to you! Oh yes - relax...it normally happens when you expect it least! I will say a little prayer for you! ;-)

the two of you need to relax, stressing out it's not going to help at all, your body is to tense to conceive, give yourself a few days or hrs of relaxation, probably when the two of you are intimate the only thing in your mind is ''must make baby'' and is not helping, just have fun try to forget little bit and go with the flow, I'm not telling you to forget about it forever, no just to clear your mind, you could start by taking prenatal vitamins, calcium, your bf zinc, magnesium and vitamin E to increase the sperm count, and both of you vitamins D & C for strong bones, I also find this web site that's call "Fertility Food Plan'' to increase your chances to conceive all natural food!! give it a try, and remember to relax, good luck both :)

my suggestion would be stop "trying" . . having a baby is something that's either gonna happen, or it's not . . just relax and enjoy the intimacy with your husband . . let things flow . . don't stress over whether you got pregnant or not . . . my husband and I tried to get pregnant for 6 months . . but when we stopped "trying" I got pregnant the next month . . .

relax I have known 2 women that got pregnant just a couple of months after they stopped trying, and I have heard others say that it is medically proven that if you are stressing over something ( like getting pregnant ) then it takes longer to conceive

Sex every day after mensuration until next mensuration. Usually, 10th to 14th day should be efficient. But why should u lose an opportunity for other days. So, enjoy every day. See that all his sperm enters inside u and dont get out.

We were told to put a pillow under your hips after he "finishes" and keep your hips raised for 15 min or so. Supposedly, gravity helps the little guys along ;o)
