The funny thing is that the religious right makes such a huge fuss about gay's and gay marriage, but yet the diviorce rate amoung heterosexuals continues to soar. Same-sex marriages are ok. However, do you really need a piece of paper to love someone?

Wrong on so many levels. What about health and life insurance? Rates go up be'cuz the risks are higher and the rest of have to pay higher rates so companies can offer them the same insurance. Taxes- marriage tax, family tax- when refunds are handed out, they won't be as large 'cuz it has to go to a whole new group of people also. OK, I just made people mad, but.....

Marriage, opposite to three different solutions, isn't about procreation (in spite of the truth that, we are extremely prepared to save attempting to make a toddler if it makes them satisfied XP) and not in any respect the only belongings of the christian or the different faith. Marriage is a promise of dedication and promises reward to both activities. i might want to like my relationship to be regarded, i desire to be acknolodged and given each and each of the rights that a guy might want to get in my position. 2 human beings in a loving, committed relationship is a wedding ceremony. we are already getting married and characteristic been because the initiating of the human race. today we in basic terms desire the healthcare and social and legal reward that could desire to bypass with it. <3

They're a good idea, if you love someone and want to spend the rest of your life with them, it makes no difference if your the same sex. I'm going to my first same sex wedding in July and really looking forward to it.

Well I have no problem with them, as long as they stay with each other and not start deciding that they will sleep with a straight man or woman for the hell of it every now and then.

Believe me, I have seen so many gay/lesbian friends sleep with straight people, who are married.

I don't agree with them but I respect others rights to do so. I would prefer it if they had same same sex civil partnerships as oppossed to marriage, but that's me.

Why not, its got nothing to do with any of us, and if it makes them happy let them do it, its freedom of choice why should they not be able to get married or adopt children for that matter, why does it scare people so much? If you are secure in your own sexuality, then this should not make any difference to your life.
