I have a Intel(R) Pro/100B PCI Adapter (TX) Ethernet Card

Is there one that is better than that will make my Comcast
Cable Internet go any faster?

Ethernet or nic is just a interface it cannot fasten the speed of Internet access

in old nic cards there were half and full duplex cards but now there is no need of u changing anything

The Bottle neck of your network isn't the NIC, but its the ISP who most likely has a control on your upload / download speeds. They promise a minium rate which isn't saying much. So you won't see any difference between a 100MBs card and a Gig Card.

Nope, unless your cable can deliver over 100megabit per second... there's no point speeding up something that isn't the slow point of the link.

And the slow point is probably the far end where you're getting your data from.

dude you have CABLE internet....unless you have $$$4 you can lease T1 line...:)

The card is good enough for your internet, if its slow, I would start looking elsewhere to why it is slow.
