The legitimate winner should be Melinda because she already performs like a well-seasoned pro.
The real competition is between Melinda Doolittle and Jordan Knight....both with outstanding vocal prowess and captivating personalities....
In my opinion, Melinda is already a Star - with every quality that every big-named Star should have, while Jordan is an up-and-coming Rising Star.
Blake is nothing but a talented geek with a mediocre and forgetable voice, and a using beat-box as a gimmick. The guy has a career as dressing up like a clown and performing at County Fairs or theme parks.
Lakisha has the best voice out of all the contestants, however, her forte is singing ballads or songs that start slow and build to a powerful end. While Melinda and Jordan (and even Blake) can sing ANYTHING and EVERYTHING, Lakisha falls short when she sings songs that are not ballads. I'd hate to see Lakisha win because her album will be full of love songs and ballads.....in other words: a boring album that will put people to sleep.

I'm hoping it comes down to Melinda and Blake. They both have things going for them.
Melinda: incredible voice, sweet personality... probably the most talented
Blake: good voice-- not as good as Melinda's but makes up for it with amazing style, very unique, and will probably get the votes from the young'ns. You know, the kids that kept Sanjaya, A-Fed, and a number of others in past their time
Either way, I'm happy.
