Which do you think is better...a homemade gift, or one that you purchase from a store?

Homemade! I think it shows that some1 took the time to sit down & make something w/their own hands. I would be so happy if my husband would stop along the road and pick me a flower! That'll never happen but, It would mean more to me than dozens of roses. Any1 can buy a present but to make it yourself makes it special, I think anyway :)

Store gifts. They have a warranty or even better, a receipt for returns! Usually homemade gifts for a guy are too corny but if you are making something nice for an aunt or grandmother, then they might like it for sentimental value. But don't do it all the time for all their gifts. And never give a homemade gift to a child or in-law.

To me a homemade gift is the best!! It shows that you care for that person and that you took the time. I have a couple of homemade gifts and to me there the best!!

Home made...its more personal and you go to alot of effort to do it... I personally think home made cards and hand written letters are better than any gift you can buy from a shop

Really just depends on what it is but I do like to get home made cards from my nephews and nieces rather than bought ones. Means much more and costs so much less.

if it's well made and useful, homemade is better. kind of depends on the giver and recipient.
