Nope.
Unless you are close with both of them and they both honestly tell you...

My parents have been happily married for 37 years and I have been happily married for 5 years. My grandparents were happily married for 20 years before my grandpa passed away. She loved him so much she never remarried or anything. Could never see herself w/ another man after him. PLus she had 3 sons to take care of in the depression. She was an amazing person rest her soul.
It is possible, it just takes the right person. I love my husband more today than the day we got married. We have been through alot together and I don't think I would be the same person w/o him.

Yes, I know not only a couple but many couples that are happily married. One of them is a couple I have known 25 years ago. Husband and wife have undergone many ups and downs in life: be it financial...relationships...
raising up children...spiritual matters. But in the midst of all these, they live happily with each other and with their children. Happiness does not mean that life is like 'beds of roses'.

Well, I guess I must really be in the minority. I only know one couple who is NOT happily married. I knew two, but the husband died. I LOVE being married to my husband of 17 years and while it has not always been smooth sailing (years 7 and 10 come to mind) we adore each other, balance each other and we are there for each other during both our triumphs and tragedies. I would still rather be in his company than in anyone else's. We talk, we laugh, we listen and we still enjoy the quiet moments. After 17 years, he can still give me butterflies.

I'm 1/2 of one. Will celebrate 35 years in 2007. Isn't easy but is worth it. We didn't have one of those fancy weddings either.
Started out married life with a blanket and a toaster.

My husband and I are extremely happy. This is the second marriage for both of us and I think that has helped us to really appreciate a good marriage. We have so much fun together. We play together (4 wheeling, fishing, camping). We pray together. We adore our kids. We have fantastic sex. And we are kind to each other and look out for each other's best interest. We have been married 8 years.

Geez, just a little Samsonite with that question!
If you mean a couple that never has problems no. But if you mean one that is married and still happy about it, yes. My wife and I for 20 years and her parents for over 50 years.
Sorry you're not having a good time.

My in-laws. Here's the short story.
She saw him walking down the street (she did not know him) and said to her friend "I'm going to marry him." A few years later they met, fell in love and have been together for 36 years. They are truly happy.
