The circumference (or perimeter of a circle) formula is
C = 2(pi)radius or C = 2(pi)r where r = radius of circle.
The radius od a circle is half the diameter of the circle:
(1/2) diameter = radius
(1/2) 60 feet = 30 feet
Since r = 30 feet, then
C = 2(pi)(30 feet)
C = 60(pi) feet
pi is the ratio of the circumference to the diameter of any circle. pi is approximately 3.14.
C = 60(3.14) feet
C = 188.4 feet
