Men should never spit in sight of women or children. For one children imitate this to well. Do you seriously want a society of spitting 6 year olds. Loud music is another subject though. Music is a personal thing and therefore a private matter. I would prefer that your private didn't get into my public. Playing your music loud in being totally selfish, saying to everyone "you will hear my preference and there's nothing you can do about it.". It would be different if we could turn off or redirect our hearing like we can when we see something we don't like, but sadly we can't.

It's not accepted because we should all do what we can to make others feel comfortable. Spitting on, or around them, and being loud will make others uncomfortable.

If this kind of behavior is accepted where you live, I feel bad for you. Polite society frowns on this type of behavior so you obviously do not live in a polite society. You should do what you can to change this.
