I've been lowering mine slowly by a combination of weight lifting and cardio exercise as well as better diet habits. After six months I am now down to 145/80 and feeling all the better for that. Still a little way to go, I suppose. Unfortunately there are side effects. The dopamines I get form exercising every day mean that I get depressed if I miss a session... that's a real addiction and habit forming pastime... albeit that my stress levels are considerably lowered and my performance at work has improved... at least I thinks so... and I might give myself a salary increase this year... these things all lower blood pressure.
