What topics should I practice over the summer to make sure that i'm prepared for intermediate algebra? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Look at a Math 092 book and review the table of contents. From the table of contents, decide what you want to study during the summer.

Another possibility is to try and purchase the book in an online book store.

When I was in 7th grade, everyone took Algebra one. If you want to study for it, go ahead, but I don't think it's really all that hard. Of course, I've been through all those courses, so I'm not exactly thinking like a beginner. Just know that algebra has letters that take place of numbers, and you have to figure out what number it is that the letter is representing. Like a puzzle. For example, a problem might look like x - 2 = 4. You would have to look for x. The harder the algebra level, the more advanced the problem.
