99% of people who 'know' the answer to this question will happily state that the Monumental Axis in Brazil is capable of accomodating 160 cars side by side. This is simply absurd, and in any case it consists of more than one road.

Couldn't give you any dimensions, but the road heading towards Zeebrugge Ferry Terminal in Belgium, is the widest road I have ever seen, and I travel a lot throughout Europe.

P.S. This is not a Motorway or Dual Carriageway, but a Single Carriageway road
