I think styles relate to our preferences and topics/subjects of choice. When a question targets a preferred topic, we change our style as we might have more knowledge on the subject, and vice versa.

With every answer I provide, I try my best to write as I would if in the middle of a story. Seldom do I give snippy replies, but those that should clearly be understood using correct grammar and spelling.

Anything less is demeaning to me and the forum.

Incidentally, it is "lo and behold" rather than "low and behold."

I make it a point to be as intelligent as I can be, when typing. I have a pet peeve about people who do not use proper grammar and punctuation when typing, as if it should be acceptable when communicating anonymously when it is clearly not when doing so at work where people know you. I believe that it is a reflection on the type of person you are in your real life, because I refuse to believe a person would purposely misspell words and use such bad typing and grammar skills just to maintain an image of mediocrity. Besides, Y!A has spell check, so WTF?

But anyway, me's just me and yer get wot yer see, don;'t do no airs and graces or nuffin.

No, I have no need to hide behind a fake Internet persona. I am who I am, and I consider myself educated. I read a lot, but I also went to uni, and think.
