is the game same as the one in the pc? like, u get to choose any breed u like and the color, shape and the other details? which ones better? the pc kind or the gameboy advance kind? if i get the pc, do i still need to buy sims 2 and other cd's just to play sims 2 pets?

Well my opinion would be to get the PC version, the graphics and gameplay is much better than the Gameboy version. Make sure you have a good computer soo you dont get lagg.

They are not the same game, even though they have the same name.

Sims 2 PC is a people simulation. You do what you like basically. And you have to buy Sims 2 and Sims 2 pets expansion to have pets. (personally, I think the pets expansion is a waste of time, but each to their own)

Sims 2 on Gameboy advance is more of a Role Playing Game (RPG), you hunt around collecting things and using items and talking to other sims to find out information and completing quests. It is a completely different game.
