I have no idea, but I had my eyebrows waxed on Friday, its now Tuesday, and I still have little red spots all around my brows..... it hurt......she just painted the wax on and ripped it off. I find it hurts less when they put the wax on, and attach the little cloth to rip it off..... Ill be interested in the answers too.

Put pressure on the area that was just waxed. If you hold your finger there and press, it takes away the pain. Afterward, when you're all done, you can ice it if you need to.

This might sound really silly but when my kids were babies and due to have a needle, i was told to rub teething gel on the area that i wanted the needle. You know that stuff that numbs their gums, hey - maybe that will work.

They don't numb them up in the salon? I used to work in a salon...find a place that will treat you better, it really shouldn't hurt if done correctly.
