I guess they thought they were above the law, and that they could buy Paris' freedom from justice. But, violating probation on a DUI charge is a big deal. And, saying that you didn't know you were not allowed to drive is not a defense when you have a signed piece of paper stating the opposite in your car. It's a joke how the Hilton's are acting. They need to show more respect for the law and themselves.

Sadly ignorance begets ignorance. Its no wonder Paris is a moron, its obvious that her parents aren't fit to raise a flag let alone children. If by some odd chance that Paris is able to get away with this my only hope is that WHEN she injures or kills someone I sure hope that some lawyer somewhere is kind enough to offer their services and help the family to sue the Hilton Empire, Paris, Kathy & Rick Hilton, her attorney and all the publicists involved for everything they own. Because its inevitable Paris will kill or mame someone with her actions. She has not and does not make the best life decisions because she is self centered and selfish nor does she have parents who ever insisted upon her being responsible for her actions. Therefore she will NEVER learn from her mistakes because she feels that its the police, the prosecutors and the judges fault she's in trouble. Its never Paris' fault. She is pathetic and disgusting.

I totally agree with you. Would Kathy Hilton defend every drunk driver who violated their probation not once but twice like her precious little princess? Or is punishment for repeatedly breaking the law only for the common people, not the Hiltons? What if one of Mrs. Hilton's kids were injured by a drunk driver? Would she say it was unfair and ridiculous for that person to go to jail? I know parents want to protect their kids but sometimes the best thing is for them to learn a lesson when they do something wrong. Judging from the parents it's obvious why Paris is the way she is. If I were the judge I would have made Paris start serving her sentence immediately. I would have also thrown Kathy's azz in jail for contempt for her outbursts in court.

I agree totally with what you are saying if the judge had let her walk free with a slapped wrist what message does that send out to the rest of society.
Too many so called stars flout the law because they think that they are above the law and think they will cry and walk free.
The fact that the parents or her mother in this case condemns the judge only goes to show what type of example she has set for her daughter and there is no wonder why she has turned out the Way she has.
Mind you on saying that she is an adult and has the choice what she does so she has to accept what she has done and shut up about it.
I do not think this is the end she will be in every magazine known to man when she comes out god help us.

Paris geebag Hilton is a skank and an ugly one at that, The American Judicial system as far as celebs go is a joke, they always seem to get out of real punishment which they deserve.
Paris Hilton is a badly educated ignorant person with the personality of a rabies infested rottweiler! Given time she probably will hurt someone and when she does I hope it smacks her right in that ugly face of hers...
Trey Parker and Josh stone the creators of South Park summed her up in their episode of her, she is a Skank...
As for her parents well it shows how ignorant they are also!
People like them think they can buy anything and anyone, they have no souls and I hope they rot in hell!

I could not have said it better and I agree with you, 100%.
This no-talent snotty rich brat broke the law several times and did nothing to correct her mistakes.
Instead, she broke the same law again!
Obviously, she had no discipline at home (shame on her parents for their lack of parenting skills).
As an adult, she now thinks she is above the law.
The problem is, being an adult means being responsible.
Jail time might be the lesson that drives home that point.
As its been said:
if you can't do the time, don't do the crime.

Spoiled, yes snotty,yes,bee-auch,YES Imature, yes Above the law,NO,DANGEROUS, You Betcha. This overly Foolish rich/but Worthless type of person should serve her time,Grow up and earn the respect she thinks she deserves! How sad that poor little rich Bee-auch feels this is so unfair and unnessessary. She said she dosen't deserve this kind of treatment! Does she have to KILL/or mame an innocent person to realize she is doing something terribly wrong???I'm sure she'll get out of it somehow and DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN and again, and again. Her poor excuse of parents should also be put in JAIL for allowing her to be the way she is! What a sad mess it is to be RICH!! I'm glad I'm a hard working AMERICAN with RESPECT for others..Good question.

Yes. The Prosecutor, should have told Kathy Hilton if you don't be quiet, I will see that you are in a cell right next to her, for your bad parenting skills.

Maybe if Kathy Hilton was hit by a drunken driver with a suspended license, she would actually use that pea brain of hers to rethink this situation.
Class comes with learning and maturity, you are not born with it.

I feel that the punishment was appropriate and in line with what would be given to one of us non-celebrities. Being rich does not make you above the law. Paris' grandfather made the Hilton name classy but it seems that every subsequent generation is intent on dragging it through the proverbial mud.
