How much fuel is still being pumped into reserves?..Was a time that the Bush government was filling the reserves despite rising prices..Is this not what the reserves are for ..a time of shortage because of refinery problems...the whole of North America is suffering because of the shortage...and how much fuel is being shipped to Iraq and Israel?

-Is Bush still filling his gas reserves despite the refinery problems?

They aren't HIS reserves. They are YOURS and MINE. Those reserves you are talking about at the Strategic National Reserves. And OBTW I hope they are always full.

And no the National Reserves aren't supposed to be used when the prices go up. They are reserves to be used in time of war.

I don't think we (the US Government) are shipping fuel to Israel. I have no idea where you got that from. Iraq? Well the last time I heard HUMVEEs don't run on anything else.

The problem is not the supply of oil. It's refinery capacity.
Now refineries aren't being built because they are expensive. And they become really expensive if they are built and aren't running. Why don't you get a liberal consortium together and go build a few and you will understand the problem better.

The reserves are for a real emergency not a slight price spike.

Bush realizes this unlike the president before him.

After 9/11 the world became more dangerous and there could be real fears of disruption of the oil trade.

Israel buys their own oil at world prices, just like the US. They are importers just like US. WE do not sell them oil.

Iraq produces its own oil. They export oil. Any short term imports is what they buy on the world market and the US is not selling to them (since we are an importer).

He desires to drill extra oil and build extra refineries even even with the incontrovertible fact that he admits that worldwide Warming is actual, enormously screwed up! i think of he's attempting to sparkling the way for nuclear in some places besides. i think of even with the incontrovertible fact that Bush will want to go out with a bang and bomb Iran in the previous he's finished. he would be time-honored via fact the prez that throughout the time of no way cared approximately what US voters or something of the international needed yet is enjoyed for all his artwork he did for oil and potential agencies.

You are way off base with your complaints. Your statements are incorrect. Your knowledge of recent history is lacking. The strategic oil reserves are there in case of war and our supplies are cut off. The oil is for the military to protect the country. There are no new refinery problems, only the old problems...caused by liberal Democrats...lack of new refineries allowed, lack of new drilling in the US allowed, numerous blends of gasoline mandated for different areas of the country. Oil is a world commodity. Consumers buy it where they can get it. Sellers sell it to the high bidders. Get off the Bush bashing, your prejudice is showing. If you are unhappy with the oil prices, don't buy gasoline.
