I find that sometimes i get caught up on who i should be and where i should be going that i lose track of who i am now. I can vaguely remember who i was in the past but have lost the idea of the present and without a present how can i have a future?

Maybe when I was younger yes, maybe under the age of 25. But over the last 11 years I have got to know myself and who I am through various experiances.

Yes often, shorty. I used to get this recurring dream where I was drowning in a glass sided box in the middle of a shopping centre. I was smashing my fists into the glass walls but no one could hear me. I can remember my lungs feeling as if they would burst. When I was in that time of my life I certainly lost who I was a bit.

Yes because other people to include family... see me different than I see myself. I don't always see the good in me and the positive light that others do. When they say I glow... or I am blessed... or I have special gifts and abilities... I just don't get it. I see me as always striving and struggling to be the best woman I can be. I kinda feel what they say but I don't want to end up arrogant by acknowledging it.

Yes. I was a completely different person 10 years ago. The person I am today feels like a complete stranger but I guess you just naturally change as you get older.

I do tend to feel that I am living someone else's life sometimes. I had a really weird dream last night though. I dreamed that I woke up and looked in the mirror - only it wasn't me that was looking back but someone completely different. It wasn't anyone I recognised and in my dream I knew it wasn't me and was really confused. I do know who I am - I just don't know where I fit in.

No cant say I have, but have had some trouble with other people wondering who they are. Living in another nightmare I should think. I dont get invoved with this kinda stuff so I stay just me.

Yeah - sometimes I really doubt myself, and wonder why I do what I do, and I also question why I don't do more. I used to be sure of myself and my purpose in life, but lately I've come to realise that I've changed, and I'm not sure for the better. I think I need to get in touch with the old me.

It took me a while to recover my sense of identity after my daughter was born. Went from being 'myself' (full time job, self reliant, lots of friends, going out, drinking, going to movies and having a laugh) to being 'a mum' and couldn't reconcile the two for a while!
