Hi
Gosh - you've been put on HRT which I only know one uses for people with bad symptoms of menopause because your body will stop producing the hormones. However you are still bleeding so you cannot be going through menopause? Your HRT maybe inducing your bleeding symptoms.
And, yes those tablets can work but sometimes dont work so well on their own. They work by reducing blood loss. You must eat before taking the tablets. Also, if you are bleeding for 26 days - 3 days on these tablets wont help you.
I sympathise with you - I no longer have these problems anymore. Go back to your GP.

It sounds like Endometriosis. Not at all fun. I had it for 25 years.

Google the Tranexemic or tranexamic acid tablets. I did not find much good info about them.

Do not miss your Ob. Gyn appointment.

I vote for the bleeding, the pain is MUCH worse.

Maybe your HRT needs changing or you may have a slight infection, please go see your GP asp and get it sorted, I had the same problems myself with HRT for the first 12 mths.
