Anything that's not really a name but someone tries to make it one. Like, there is a couple, who really named their kid Espn (they pronounce it S-Pin) because the dad was such a fan of E.S.P.N. the sports network. That kinda freaked me out a little. It's not a name and this poor kid is stuck with it. I would definitely never name a child Espn.

I have a daughter and her name is Isabella, i love it b.c i LOVE old fashioned names that just sound pretty...IF i ever have another daughter i want her name to be...Olivia, Madelyn, Lily, or Madison. And names that wouldnt name my child are made up names or mispelled names...i hate when people think they are being original by spelling a name wrong, well its just ridiculous!!!! and when people take a whole bunch of names and put them all together to make a name and then say "oh well i want an unusual name" WHY?!?!?!

I would never name my child after a car, you know like Mercedes or Porsche, its just tacky. Also I would not just come up with something that is almost impossible to spell or pronounce, think about later on in life like at graduation when the announcer is trying to say it and no matter how hard they try they get it wrong.

Anything really popular. I hate popular names. I am a teacher and it sucks for kids to have the same name as another (or 2 other) people in class. There is confusion and a lack of identity.

I know a lot of parents who combine letters or elements of their own names to make one new name for their kid e.g. Susan & Mark calling their daughter Suma and Katie & Lyndon naming their son Kaylon. Sometimes it sounds OK, but I think it's generally a silly practice.

Also, not wnough ppl find out the meanings of names before they give them to their kids for all eternity, which is cruel - they could mean anything!

Anything common. I like unique names that perhaps I haven't ever heard anyone be named in thousands of years. So Jennifer, Sarah, Matt, Robert, Aiden, Ainsley. They're all out.

Names that are difficult to pronounce and have double meanings. Always check the baby's name meaning to be sure. There's a lot of website to check for baby names and its meanings.

I wouldn't name my daughter Sherezade or Rapunzel. It's just riddiculous.

Tnnole, the name Mercedes is not taken from a car, hehe. It's a Spanish name for girls that means 'mercies'.
