Yes years ago I used to make chocolates. I made chocolate covered cherries, and many other flavors. I would use powered sugar and sweetened condensed milk for the centers. You kneed this like a dough, I would then put coconut, sometimes peanut butter, and I liked to add unsweetened kool-aid powder to this to make different flavors. You also melt paraffin wax to dip the candies into so that the chocolate covering does not melt. Yummy! I can't work like that any more though.I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and my fingers won't let me do stuff like this any more.

Oh, I wish all of you would stop with the chocolate questions. I'm trying to, um, avoid it, but oh my. . .
I remember making chocolate fudge with my kids during the holidays, especially Christmas, when they were little. We had so much fun and that time went by so quickly. Now I still do it sometimes, but it's with my grand-kids. I have no idea how so much time went by so quickly.

My daughter learned how to make peanut butter cups at a Young Women's function at our church when she was 13. She has made them for Christmas the last two years. Occasionally she will ALLOW me to help her. It's really fun and a lot easier than it looks. It is time consuming, though.
