Sometimes... But smiling doesn't always show what really is inside...

~~~ Hi Eric. Here you go again, with another deep question.Why do ya wanna make me think so much? My brain was getting so used to being stagnant. Okay,smiles are a sweet medicine,in my opinion. They can't always make you happy, BUTT!! they let you know you are not alone in this world. I live with Chronic depression so sometimes I forget what a smile is. Then I'll be out on a reluctant errand and some stranger will flash me a smile,and it actually makes my day. I think about it long after it's over. So now I try to remember to pass them along. One time I even smiled at a Cop as I walked past. Now that's a biggie for me. Another time I smiled at a homeless woman. She told me I was beautiful. Wow!! If that's a reward for a smile I'll keep it up. Yes, sometimes they can make you happy and make other people happy. So people ....keep smiling. Have a nice day Eric.~~~
A smile just a smile can make so much of a diffrenceOr is it?
The truth is not everything on earth is perfect.We hear the news and read the papers on killings wars and people suffering and wonder with each century passing by.We too have our personal problems love problems family problems and so on.even i ahve my own problems
But then if we dwell on our problems too much it will make things even worse.The situation becomes so bad that you become depressed and trust me you wouldnt want that
So in times like this a smile anything positive raelly brightens your day it does not make anything better or change the situation you are in But at laest it gives u hope and comfort that the next day will be better
Yeah of course. Smile makes me happy even when I have no special cause of happiness.
Yes, Always put your happy face on. Try this walk through Walmart or the mall---anywhere there are people and just smile at everyone, I'll bet you'll get smiles back. They are just as contagious as a yawn is. You'll feel better. I laugh as much as I can everyday. It's a tough world out there, go and make someones day.:) :):)
A smile lifts the mood, and makes you feel happy, if only for a second, and it is worth it.
What I find is that sometimes, if you smile even when you don't feel like smiling, it makes other people around you smile. Then, it makes them feel happy, and that sometimes can make your day happier. (Did ya follow all that?)
Smiling and laughing releases the feel good chemicals from our brain. If you are feeling miserable try smiling and laughing it can fool the brain into thinking we are happy and release some feel good chemicals.
in high school, i actually got voted most friendliest. i always smiled all the time and i was always the happiest girl in school and got along with just about anybody. i have always been this way, and i love to smile, because it makes me feel good. my dad has always told me that smiling to someone you dont know might make their day because they could be thinking shortly. meaning, they were probably thinking about hurting themselves or thinking that they have no friends. he says smiling is always a way to make someone feel good and to smile along with you!
Smiling always works for me, especially followed by an outburst of laughter.
Smiling not only changes a facial expression, but can also give you a sense of well being.
The "American smile" on the other hand, is the smile to show politeness. This smile I call "insincere." "Professional smile."
