Yes, it still stays the same. The only thing that would change is if you were paying her alimony, unless it stipulated you still had to pay even if she did re-marry. Her remarriage has no bearing on your legal obligation to pay child support. Nor would it change and go up if you remarried if your new wife worked.
On a note, even if you gave up your parental rights to your children, you would still have to pay child support until they are either adopted or 18. Child support can still be collected if they go on to college until they are finished.

Yes, you child support stays the same b/c that is your kid not her new husbands. that would be like saying if u marry that your new wife's income is figured into how much child support you would have to pay your ex. Alimony is a different story, if u pay alimony that would stop if she remarries.

Yes it does unless you relinquish your parental rights and he adopts them. Child support will change when your income or her income changes. Her new husbands money is not considered her income in the eyes of the court. Her income comes from her job, her inheritance, etc.
You and your ex-wife made the children, the two of you and noone else are responsible for supporting them.

In Illinois it does. Child support goes until your child or children are emancipated which in IL is 18.
Usually if you pay maintenance (used to be called alimony) and if it's in the agreement - it can stop when she marries but child support continues.
They are your children and not the person she marries and thus you continue to pay. In IL you can't even take into consideration what the new spouse makes. Child support is based on your net income.

When my mother got married to my step father my child support from my dad dropped down to 30 bucks a month! from 200 something to 30 bucks. You just have to go to court and have it readjusted. Now with my husband since we got married his support went down because he has to support me 2. It only went down 10 bucks a week but its better then nothing. And when i was working they tried! to raise it. And since the judge is taking his good old time with the DNA which she admits none of the kids are his. I quit my job and worked under the table so she don't get any of my money. lol

Yes, the support is based on mother's and father's income. Not the new guy's income. Witch kinda sucks. But you always have the choice to go to court and have it readjusted. But that don't mean anything will change.

As most here have said. They are your kids..so your responsability. BUT, I do know that in some states you can go through the courts to have it lowered, if not shut down. The catch with that is to have that happen you will need to give up any guardianship of them that you now have. you will have no say in the situation. So if you give that up. you will have no say in ever seeing them again. if your ex were to say no more visits ect...you're not going to be able to do anything about it.

Why would your child support change simplay because your ex gets remarried?? It's not the new husbands child, it's yours.

Only a judge can decide ....
The only way out is to give up your parental rights and allow him (the new spouse) to adopt the kids ..
