Just tell the person 'Please stop nagging me.' ' You are getting on my nerves'. Be honest.

im guessing probably a kiss and/or hug, and if that doesnt work, then tell them you dont want to hear it, and walk away.. usually when someone nags (namely me) its because there is a deeper reason, like when i tell my husband to pick up his 26 baseball caps from the living room, or tell him to quit putting eggshells in the sink, yes those things really bother me, but not as much as him not spending quality time with me. So think about whether or not the person who is nagging has a deeper issue with you, maybe that person just wants to be closer to you, or has an unbelievable amount of stress.. im a pisces, so my first response is to think about why the person is nagging, sorry, anyway, i hope this was helpful..

If the nagging person is your partner, give them a hug with something along the line of 'aww poor you'
see, most of the time people nag cuz they want YOUR attention. They might not be that grumpy about whatever that appears to bother them, usually they've just had a hard day and want a hug/snog/shag. That shows them you care about them and shuts them up at the same time.
If it's a friend, unless it's a good friend or you owe them money, you shouldn't waste your precious time by being next to them and listen, or pretending you are listening with nods, ahs and umms.
If it's in-laws, God bless you

The main and only way to usually stop a person from nagging is to ask them what they want and listen and then try to heed to what they are saying and give a little so they will stop nagging and be more happy and content. Do you even listen when they are talking? They may just want to be heard.

I don't know if it's possible to make someone "Stop" doing something. The best thing to do if someone is annoying you is to try to stay away from them for a while and let them get over their bad mood. Find something else to do in a different room. If they are in the living room, then you need to go to the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, etc.
If the nagging continues, tell them to please stop or you'll leave the house and won't come back for the night. (you can always go sleep in a motel room.) It's harsh to tell them you'll leave, but, they'll get the idea and they'll shut up!
Cheers

The best way is just walk out the door and let them wind down while you are gone. Once they get on the nagging soap box they are like a wind up toy, they just go on and on and on.

My vote is for tell them to stop. or at least ask them to stop. From my experience, if they nag now they'll nag later.

Grab a cold one, sit down on the couch and stare up at them then change the subject and ask if they want one and want to take a load off and sit by you for a minute. Pop open a cold one for them and say "so what do you want to do tonight?"
