This is just like asking how many boxes can this room contain, well it depends on the box's volume, so it depends on the size of e-mail, it will keep taking mails until the 1024MB is filled..

It will vary because tje size of the emails varies.

To give a rough sort of an idea, my gmail currently is holding just under 9000 eamils and that is using 441MB of space.

To extrapolate that out to 1024MB of storage would hold around 20900 emails..

Sophie if the emails are 1 Mb in size then it will take 1024 emails if 2Mb in size then 512 and so on.....

Depend on attachment sizes.
I had a customer with 18'000 emails and its no more than 300MB, where another has 6'000 emails and almost 7GB
