When it is given to those who are not qualified to make logical and sensible decisions within their own right.
A homeless man once asked me for some money to buy food. Instead, I offered him some of my fresh groceries that I was loading into my car boot at the time. He said he didn't want my bread, vegetables, muesli bars, tins or fruit. He only wanted cash. As you can imagine, I told him in no uncertain terms 'where to go' and he left empty-handed.
Must be where the saying 'beggars can't be choosers' came from! lol
I believe that even generosity has moral obligations to be in somebody's 'actual' best interests.

when u are taking it too much and they are taking advantage of it, and u are blinded by their advantages or u doesnt care about taken advantages by these people and the people concern around u are saying that ur generosity is wrong, that's it..

I don't think genuine generosity is ever wrong itself, it's when people take advantage of it, that is wrong.

when its mistaken for weakness, and people start to use , or take you for granted, then generosity could be a bad thing,

generosity is wrong for the giver....
the moment it's taken for granted by the recipient.

When it is at the expense of others.eg. taking thing that do not belong to you , to give to others less fortunate. It may make you feel good but other people are hurt.

When it is unwanted, like when you visit your mom and she makes you take home leftovers even though you did not like the food in the first place.
