I always try to hang my jacket in a closet. I don't like clothes on a chair, the house looks messy if there is too much clutter.

~~~ I hardly ever wear a jacket,like somebody else who answered you said, BUTT!! clo,if I do,doorknobs work fine.actually I had a hook in my bedroom until the painter took it off and forgot to replace it when he was done. So,to cut down on unnecessary tasks I'd rather be slighty cold than to go to the trouble of messing with a jacket. Unless it's going to be a fashion statement. Then I'll just keep it on in the house until I'm ready for bed.I have this really cool black leather biker jacket that I'd sleep in if it wasn't so childish....LOL!! ~~~

right now I am trying to hang some DANG drapes, I gave up yesterday so if I were to wear a jacket I would throw it on the bed to find it later, the drapes are all over the front room. help.

I rarely wear a jacket unless it is just absolutley freezing....I don't like lugging a lot of things around.

We dont wear it much. As its rare, sure we would hav the patience to keep it in the closet.
However i wont through anything around on chairs.
