In every movie that I have ever seen made in the USA. No one ever takes off their shoes at the door.
I live in Korea people eat and sleep on the floor so it's a custom to take off your shoes at the door.
I'm from Oklahoma, If you took your shoes off while walking into my parents house or any of my keen they would look at you like you were a damn fool. Hell your feet would get dirtier on the floor than outside probably. Tell me something when was the last time you were sick? For me was 1999 and I was in the Army Ft. Jackson SC. I stayed in the hospital for about a week, why? I was dehydrated.
