the current BCCI is terrible
BCCI is reducing their pay c'mon its because of the indian cricketers that the BCCI is the richest cricketing board in the world BCCI doesn't get sponsors for themselves they get sponsors because the cricketers play on the field and perform and advertisements doesn't matter after all if you remember Sehwag scored his 309 aginst Pakistan when he was signed by 4 advertisement companies and on top of that his marriage preparations were going on
and as for the world cup its just one there are hell lots to come do not lve in the past live in present and prepare for future............................

My answer is a big NO..... the BCCI has contributed a lot for the promotion of the game in the country. We 100% can't fault BCCI for the debacle of India in the world cup. The board has sent the experienced team to the caraberian. Even the board has expected the good performance from the team........but everything went for toss ........itz very sad to blame the board.....

Now its the time for the board to take up the crucial decisions against the players, which the board already done by forcing the restrictions on the players endorsements. We are not lacking any talent........we have lot of potentials in us and the board has to set up the special committee for recognising the talent throughout the country and also board has to look at the making of BOUNCY pitches for the internal cricket.

Your question is something similar to asking whether a principal is required for a college when only a handful of students go on damaging the image of the college. BCCI has done nothing wrong this time. Surely there were lots of differences of opinions. But the one thing the BCCI did it wrong is not settling the players' payment arrears for past matches even for so long as 7 months, which I feel could have been one of the main(not the only) reasons for influencing the bad performance by the players.

If a political party is needed after a defeat in the election, if a student is required after he failed in the exam, if a job seeker is required even after he lost his first interview, Then, BCCI is also required, but of course with a change.

We should learn from their mistakes and improve the status.
(of course all the country cannot win the world cup at a time)

Any event requires management. So does every game.BCCI is required but i doubt it's efficiency as with someone not from cricket background can't lead it.So does any organization. It is BCCI's fault that lead to the degeat.

No, it can't be ended, however their members can be changed. It controls the cricket in India, it is required as every test playing nation has one.
