Oh yes! But what rewards we gain by so risking! It is much better to love and to have lost than to never have loved at all! Life without love is....not life! If our ultimate goal is to never get hurt, we would have to stop breathing lest we inhale noxious vapors, stop eating lest we ingest germs or poison, stop looking lest we be blinded, stop listening lest we hear horrible sounds. Stop loving so we never get our hearts hurt? I shall pass. I have loved many times and I have been smitten by the unhallowed hand of faithless women as many times as I have loved. I have been smitten nigh unto death because my love was unreciprocated.
I have now begun to love again and I love Kimy with a pure love that I pray will be loved and honored. If I am hurt again, I shall love again, and again, and again until I have loved my way to the grave. Is there a better alternative? I think not!

Yes, but to not love deeply is putting yourself at high risk on missing out on something equally as wonderful.

There are no guarantees in life. But to me , life would be pointless without a love in your life. I thought I was going to be alone for a long time after my divorce, but without looking, I met the one true love of my life. The most wonderful man in the world and fell in love with him from emails and phone calls. When we met, I knew what I already knew --we had a deep and beautiful love . We would not be together now if both of us hadn't been willing to take the risk -- even if you get hurt, at least you have had the chance to love someone. And maybe you'd be blessed enough to find a man like I have that I know will never hurt me and will be by my side always. I would not have wanted to miss out on the joy and happiness he brings me.

Yes you are, but there is also the chance of happiness and joy. If the other person puts you first, think of how what they say or do will affect you, the risk can be minimized. That would be done out of love.
Plain meanness aside.

of course because if you love so deeply you can get deeply hurt but that is a part of the feeling's magic.
I mean it is nice to think that the one you care about puts himself out there for you like the way you do for him. although that may not be true. but still isn't that the way you prefer to love and be loved?

No, The risk YOU choose to power, and the amount of love you have are two, totally separate, concepts.

Yes that's true. But if your love is reciprocated like wise, you will definitely feel that you are the most happiest & luckiest person alive.
If not, you'll live & learn from the bad experience, making you a wiser person. So...take the chance!!

Any commitment requires a certain risk. Zero risk is always zero gain.
