Sure, why not ? It will be so magnificient to do a slow dance to the strains of Johann Strauss's Blue Danube....
But who does it now? Everybody in any pub would like to hear the ever familiar dhuk dhuk beat and nothing else. That's part of today's young people's music scene.
But life is a different plate. Slowing down means backlog, reworking, catching up etc.. nobody wants to take it easy. Everyone wants to catch up with the Jones' Very few are there who would sacrifice money for the sake of happiness. Speed for appreciation of beauty. Price for value etc., In fact getting a glimpse of the bigger picture of life consists of joining all the bits and pieces that we gather in our slow dance. That's the paradox of life. As beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder, so also life is for those who want to enjoy. For all others, its a ratrace.

A great question! An encouraging question also. Yes, we can afford to be a bit slow. That would be beautiful, amazing, nice and enjoyable. But ... but do you know, why everybody now-a-days are fond of faster pace or faster track? The reason is slower the speed, more difficult to keep the balance as it happens in the matter of slow-cycling.
Whatever may be, I am fond of nourising the slow ones.

"Life in the fast lane" Get away from the city (country, Hawaii, etc) you'll see just how slow of a dance it could be.
Some people never bother to take a step back and listen to the little voice within them. Perhaps they feel that a step backwards is two more added steps away from their goals.
Just as pedals-one needs the other to push down so the other can go up in order to make the wheel spin... we all go fast untill a hill (obstacles) slows us down... once at the top of that hill we race back down again. But what have we learned? The slowing down process (the obstacles) is what prepares us for the fast track (the future)...
"Failure and mistakes are great learning blocks, but one can only succeed when you correct them"

Fantastic question.... I would like to give double star, but the rules permit only one per head!!
Pace is inversely proportional to the feeling of security and satisfaction one has. You and me may score better on these two parameters, but people around us, and especially in the advanced economies, do seem deficient... obviously hurrying like Hell worrying all the time as though they would miss the bus. The fast pace arising from ever increasing material wants and desires, is making people move away from each other... they keep banging against each other without an iota of feeling or finesse. Today's world has truly lost its balance between work and leisure.
Thanks again for a great question.

I appreciate that somebody has noticed and asked such a genuine question. The reason what I see is that we have been practising our aping habits. Today we have lost importance of so many things because we like to live in the cultures adopted by others. All I can tell is that we should not lose our identity and do things that we like and stop coping and aping others. Slow dance too is very good and once should switch back to it.

Time is money. Everything is moving fast. Producers and directors are making such as per the choices of the public.
If you want to enjoy slow music and dance the Old songs and dances are available in C.Ds. There are various programmes in TV which shows old and slow moving pictures and melodious songs and slow dances. It depends on your choice what you like.

Every person thinks individually according to his work, nature and personality of observation.Again everything differs with different stages of one's life too; either say stage of ups and downs and more important up here stage of yrs.(childhood-oldage)You seem to be an intellectual person(thinking and observing alot) kind os what poets are.You find beauty in everything!Great!i would suggest you always enjoy the slow dance but don't worry about others because this way you'll lose your innocence of being near to god. This worl doesn't understand people like you. just telling you by eexperience.

If you don't care lets get out on the dance floor and dance to all slow dances until morning. That would be so relaxing and i wouldn't get sore feet. LOL let's go. LOL LOL..

Philosophically speaking, we live in two different parallel universes. One is the materialistic world we created, and the other is the spiritual world.
Since ages, mankind has developed this materialistic world, and has engrossed itself deep into it. Practically, now it is difficult for us to physically exist without being part of it.
Talking about the other universe, the spiritual world, we do at times transcend into it. These are the moments we enjoy the most. We enjoy the beauty of His creations, we enjoy being ourselves and a part of that world. During this period, every other human being seems to be so lovely, so kind, so humane... You experience nothing that is ugly, nothing that is difficult, nothing that causes pain, nothing that could worry us...
However, since we are strongly attached to the materiaslticv world, shortly after, we bounce back to the same old routine, hectic schedules, self centered ugly world, with sweet memories of the transcend in our hearts.
All the best...
:-)
