Copper sulphate will dissolve in water, diseased or not!
For pity's sake ask the question properly.

Do you want to drink the water bathe in it or cook with it?
What disease?
Do you even mean disease, or is it just dirty, or contaminated?
Are you in a third world country or are you worried about the water in your taps in Britain?

There are a dozen different answers depending on the question.
I could tell you about water filters, chemical treatments, boiling, or finding another source but I have no idea what your question is.

Boiling it will kill the majority of infectious organisms. There are a few which can withstand this.

You can also chemically treat the water using stuff you get in travel shops, chemists etc.

Some parasites which can be found in water (in some tropical countries only) should be filtered out using a fine mesh seive.

use a reverse osmosis filter

or buy a distilling unit and distil the water - although some would then recommend adding back essential salts to 're-mineralize' the water and make it 'healthier'
