I am a white male that has alsways wanted to be female, and my black girl friend has supported me by letting me role play at home. Well, how can i tell her i would love to be a woman and would she still be there for me? This woman is great, helps me play the role, and even, has a Doctor friend that would help me get Hip and Butt implants. but how do you tell a Great woman like that? She's beautiful, and funny, and she says she wants to be mine forever, but will this change her mind about being with me? thanks for your input.

One of the problems its been all my life is, how do i earn a living? so i have to stay a man and work to live, then if i found someone special that can deal with it and help me maintain a good living, then i would have been able to it earlier. i think in Korea, the parents are more supportive and help them earn a living till the surgery is over. then you begin a new life as the opposite gender. But i've got a Good life, a good girlfriend, but once i'm off doing my own thing i just want to do women things, eat sleep, dress, shop, and everything that a woman does.

I agree with the notion that you should talk with a therapist and be sure before you blow up your SO's world. At age 41, you may be sure but once the door is opened and you move forward, there's little ability to turn back. So consider this situation thoughfully.

Having said that, honesty is the very best policy. Learning a loved one is TG/TS/crossdresser whatever ... is very difficult and is further complicated because many many SO's feel like they themselves have been living a "lie" or wonder whether they may be participating in a "lesbian" or "gay" relationship when they think they are straight or feel like there has been a "death" and the person they thought they knew was now not the same person?

If you can get back to HONESTY it is better ... go slow. You have had decades to ponder the REAL you ... a SO has had minimal amount of time. As a TS, when you hop out of your closet, we tend to want to RUSH RUSH and our loved ones are not ready ... just yet but some do come around with time and patience ...

definite i experience what you're declaring is real.. i have had a talk with a transgender FtM in a interview type of way.. and that i have considered the pictures of operations of sex move and it really is quite a downside... at the starting up the surgical procedures are alot a lot less for MtF. higher and reduce surgical treatment.. the hormones ought to do alot of the artwork already.. and they don't typically decrease the more effective decrease tissus they opposite them and opposite the penis in a thanks to make the "vagina" in spite of the indisputable fact that it quite serves as a vagina even even with the truth that the fellow won't be able to carry children... yet FtM will choose an operation or maybe more effective than one for the better area of the body and there is diverse ones to come back to a decision from, and there is the decrease area which needs a minimum of from 6 to 9 operations and definite, doing the organic way meaning with the hormones the clitoris enlarges and then with an operation each and every thing is acceptable to the veins.. that ought to prefer to get each and every thing to exercising consultation tremendous yet for sure there are exceptions.. yet i understand a few FtMs who's suggested the do not care about the length.. it really is the superb project they are doing those operations for..

I saw this thing on 20/20 last friday! If you feel that , that's who you need to be than you should do it!How do you tell someone that? You just have to tell them! And yes, maybe this will change her mind about being with you! She may not want to see herself as a Lesbian. But what if she does love you that much that she stand's by your side through your ordeal. It surly won't be easy for either of you so good luck!

I believe I saw a documentary on TV that said most Gender Reassignments in the USA are done for people after they are 50 years old. In Korea, they were doing it for them more in their 20's.

i think its kind of selfish because its all about what you want and not how she would feel. you should come out to her as a transgendered person but if she is uncomfortable with gender reassignment or even hrt (hormone replacement therapy) you should look at whether you moreso value her or a physical change. remember even after the sugery and the estrogen youll stil be the same person inside, you cant run from yourself.

I don't think it's selfish at all and people that say that are idiots. They should only know what it is to be transgendered then they wouldn't say such crap.

It is your life and if you feel that you aren't leading a genuine life because of you being transgendered, then you have to do what you feel is right, and no one else. First, how can we answer what your girlfriend is going to do? You know her best. But if you are thinking about this you should consult her. If she is as great as you say she is.. Perhaps she'll understand. Only you know.

No, you aren't too old for srs. As for your girlfriend's reaction, I'm not sure she would even know what it would be until she hears this from you. Good luck though.
