My dear, you forget the most important thing. The war mongers are YELLOW BELLY BASTARDS. Remember what Bush did during the Vietnam War? He went AWOL and hid. Of course, Big Daddy Bush covered for him, records were fabricated and he was never charged. Such is the fortune of wealth. Bush is and was a yellow belly coward. He should be impeached, convicted and removed from office. Then, he should be tried for war crimes, convicted and executed. His money will save him from this deserved fate. And believe me, after this war he has more billions than most of us can even imagine.

Bring our troops home now, ALIVE. Even if they will not be able to afford to drive when they get home, we still want them home.

Here is where Stupid M got his stats. So, THIS LIBRUL will will attest to the actuality of his stats. It is right there in print for all you other Liberals to see..

BUT, and you HAD to see it coming, it seems that Stupid M may be playing a little politics...with his politics. Look at the title at the top of the "poll". It seems that we find SOMETHING ELSE right there in print for all to see. This HIGHLY FAVORABLE moment is from 2003, when the military, political and national climates were quite different from 2007.

The OUTS of then are now the INS. WMD? In 2003 the threat of Iraqi WMD was not only factual, but also "verifiable" according to the Administration. So a nation was further reeled in with "the goods" We were presented with "convincing" satellite photography of The Iraqi War Machine. Nimble and mobile transportable "launchers" were literally all over the countryside. More if needed, were a stonesthrow away in Syria and in ....surprise...Iran, Iraq's sworn ENEMY. But, hey, we are NOW in BUSHWORLD, WHERE FACT AND FAITH BLEND SEEMLESSLY. Old chemical weapons vials, some totally empty , others with trace elements present were dug up from the dessert and NOW PRESENTED AS WMD. ....

I think I've more than shone a little light on a mindset that prefers DARKNESS over Transparency. Prefers conjecture over fact. Prefers punditry over policy. Prefers 2003 over 2007.............

What are you talking about? My husband has been US Army for almost six years, we've been together for almost five, and in five years, I have not met ONE liberal soldier. Additionally, I've only met ONE Democrat, and he's only a Democrat because when he registered to vote, the Democrat line was the shortest (and he wanted to anger his family, which is all Republican).
So, sorry to disappoint, but the "neocons," the conservatives, the Republicans, AND the "war mongers" are already serving.

When are YOU going to quit being an armchair general and sign up yourself?

By the way, I'm not for the war, nor am I against it. I feel that the public is largely ignorant of what is REALLY going on in Iraq. I get my news straight from the soldiers themselves, and later this year, I'll be getting my news directly from my husband, who will be in Iraq.

No. I nonetheless have faith we'd desire to get off of oil. Libya provides under 2% of the international's oil furnish, on the type to blame this no fly zone on a choose for oil is purely stupid. The OPEC international places can p.c.. up the slack in a heartbeat. We liberals are torn between our prefer to assist freedom and forestall the loss of life of 1000's via a dictator and getting in contact in yet another civil conflict, even if if a minimum of this one in basic terms has 2 facets quite of the three in Iraq. I understand your confusion, nonetheless. you think of liberals could be such as you and think of an identical difficulty under distinctive circumstances. Sorry. We insist on comparing each difficulty in my opinion, quite of reacting knee jerk to each thing an identical way. Edit: No, it is not a rule. Conservatives could at any time choose to evaluate each and each difficulty in my opinion. As you illustrate via your question, you will not. this is a decision, not a rule.

Those that push a war agenda should lead the troups in the front line - they'd have second thoughts about going to war.

They are happy to send the kids of the nation - whats the average age of a trouper - 20 years old.

America has 5% of the worlds population but spends 50% of the total global weapons.

The neocons and warmongers are cowards. There should be very long lines at the Army recruiting centers if you were to believe all the fervent zealousness that they display on Yahoo Answers. There aren’t long lines. That should tell you something.

Our military is overwhelmingly conservatives

45% describe themselves as "conservative" with an additional 8% who say they are "very conservative". This would mean more than half (53%)

Compare that to say, "liberals" in the military - 6%
"very liberal" - 1%
