i am using windows 2000, i want to access the windows startup programs list which starts when boot and when log me in.

start -> run -> type msconfig -> Startup tab -> u will see list of startup programs.

hit Start, then go to RUN. type msconfig and hit enter. System Configuration Utility should pop-up. Go to the tab named "Startup" and there is the list of start-up programs. edit it !
PS- this works with windows XP i don`t know if it works with win2000 ... anyway try it ;)

Go to start menu > run ,
then type msconfig and press enter.
Window will open up. click on the startup tab and select what u want to start and what u don't want. then press OK, restart your PC. Its done

you can have windows defender it is a free spyware available on www.microsoft.com and it even gives you access to software on your computer from there you can select which programs to start and which not to start at startup.

do you mean........msconfig? just enter in after pressing start
