trim them...did you know that if you bite your nails, lots of bacteria can go in it (because its been cut of "un-safely") and the bacteria can go into your blood stream and could make you VERY sick.

I never did bite my nails nor did I suck my thumb as a child...I do chew the dickens out of straws, though

i trim them once a week except when i grow it long....
but when im nervous or tensed, i bite my 2nd finger or my thumb
