In some counties, they actually read the list of cases on the docket, and the attorneys respond in open court whether or not they are ready for trial or other procedure. The actual parties need not be present when the list is called. Their lawyers do what is required and the parties stay home.

The county in which I live discontinued "calling the trial list" more than 30 years ago. Now such matters are handled by telephone call with somebody in the Court Administrator's office.

If you are handling a legal matter "pro se" [acting as your own lawyer or advocate], you need to ask somebody what the practice is in your county. Speak to the Court Administrator or the Clerk of Courts to find out.

Considering the dates of the hearings are long past, I think it's abit late to wonder whether you should attend.
