Yahoo Answers revolve around questions being answered. I think it's silly to deduct 5 points when a question is being asked because without the questions... there won't be Yahoo Answers. Instead of deducting points for asking a question, I think points ought to be allocated when a question is asked.
:o)
But, I don't mind giving up 5 points to ask a question. Because it's just points. Unless they introduce contests that allow us to redeem stuff with the points we accumulated....

I agree; if a question isn't worth spending 5 pts. on then most likely it's not that important in the first place.

No. It's worth it when you see all the people come in to answer you.
It makes me feel like you guys really care or atleast have fun saying something to me and I LOVE that. I would be willing to lose 10 points.

I ask silly questions mainly and the response usually have me laughing soo hard..lol
But really you only lose 2 pts. you get three back when you pick an answer;)

No. they have no use otherwise. its good to ask a question and get a variety of opinions, and then give back.
