Looks like society is becoming more desensitized every day, but for just two minutes to elapse before some stopped to aid him is not a really long time.

I'm sure that there are cities in this country where victims wished some one stopped in two minutes.

The same way an American can drive past someone being murdered on the side of the street and not even use their cell to call the cops, let alone have the balls and testify against the bastards when they're caught!

The same way a white American until only a few decades ago would rather murder an innocent black man for a crime committed by a white man, or, even worse, for daring to TALK to a white woman!
