Its probably all about the way they talked to you as a child.

They manipulated you into beleiving in the identity they wanted for you.

You have no specific identity, you are free. I suggest a lot of silence. Spend a whole day without talking. 2 or 3 if you can.

You'll thus feel your non-identity again! Good luck!

Hi. To have a bad conscience there must be something worrying you to feel that way .Something you did or said or thought that to you is wrong. And you must know what it is otherwise it wouldn't be on your mind making you feel that way.Do you feel you have to tell someone about it or is that too much of an ordeal.Until you come to terms about what is bothering you there won't be any peace in your mind.
Cheers.

It could be that you are trying to hold yourself up to very high ideals. This is great, we should all strive to be better people, but when you mess up and fall on your face in life, you have to be able to forgive yourself and realize that you are just human, and everyone makes mistakes. Rather than beating yourself up because of the things you've done wrong, its a lot better to just forgive yourself and decide that you are going to do better in the future. =]

you question yourself because you are concerned about how others percieve you. if you look at those others with the same degree of scrutiny, do they measure up? Are they then worth all the trouble you put yourself through trying to make no mistakes?

Bad conscience? I don't understand. Are you saying you are more prone to doing bad things?
