I was at my neighbor's house, we were hanging out. We both get really drunk and he slaps me. Is it my fault that he slapped me because I was drunk?

Why is having sex with someone when they are drunk (although they slapped and pushed u away) considered to be the fault of the woman?

Drinking lowers your inhibitions and your sense of danger. If a man continues to have sex with a woman after she slapped him and pushed him away, then that is rape. It is not your fault that he raped you, but it is your responsibility to stay safe when you drink: stay with people you know, don't go with a man alone somewhere, etc. You should talk to a rape crisis center and get counseling if this really happened, and information if it's hypothetical.

neither situation was solely your fault for being drunk and sex is seen as the woman's fault when drink is involved cause if you were sober, the guy still would have made a move but you would have said no!

It's not the woman's fault and I'm interested in knowing where you got that idea.

Hypothetically, if you or someone you know has been a victim of assualt please call the Rape Crisis Line at 1-800-656-HOPE.
