Force, weight, newton and pound? Can you explain how they are related?

-the force due to gravitation is called weight.
-the unit of force is newton.
-pound is the unit of mass.

Pound, like kg, is sometimes used as a unit of weight and sometimes used as a unit of mass. The Newton is always a unit of force. Weight is the force exerted on a given mass due to gravity.
