it is 48" long,12 1/2 "wide,25" high, im pretty sure its more than 55 gallons but i would like to know for sure..i didnt check when i bought it. any info will help,thanx

Sounds like a 65 gallon, but it will actually hold a little less. Measure on the inside of the glass and use this link to find out for sure: http://www.tropicalresources.net/phpBB2/aquatic_calculations.php

Use this equation V = L x W x H. Then divide by 231. There are 231 cubic inches per gallon of water.

it sounds really close to the dimensions of my 55, so maybe 65 or 75
