first of all I'm very proud of you for giving your heart out to teens stuck in this situation.my sister was in a half way house for pregnant teens/woman that had no place to go and needed help. they helped her out with getting aid, setting up medical plans, classes for future parent/s.she also had to get a job and work up tell a few weeks before she gave birth.she had to pay off her debt there rent, food, travel, and such.she had to clean house and everything.they made it so it was just like living on her own.i mean they worked with her until she got to that point.i imagine it will be harder in Zimbabwe, fewer jobs and medical care and such.but i really don't know much about that country.you should really focus on going to school. take as many classes as you can to help you out in this process, psychology, counseling, child development.also business.because even though this is a home for teens, and your offering them a place to stay and food to eat.you still have to think of how your going to keep your dream afloat.you probably would need to set up sponsors.there is just so much to learn and do.you need to check out the laws of Zimbabwe and focus on their culture also. i would suggest not just visiting but living there for a few years to see how things work first hand.do alot of research..and start out small and work your way up.. i wish you the best of luck..you have alot of courage..

I read that you are at zimbabwe now
You are an amazing person

I think the class you may most value is what you can learn about zimbabwe from zimbabwe persons
what is a succesful child there
If you figure out that it is a person with a particular group of opportunities to do school, or work, or migrate to SA then aligning the moms to those ideas may bring greatest life benefit to the child

when I say aligning the moms I mean actually redirecting away from family clan or tribe traditions towards what is a better kind of person to be

It might be possible to adopt up n out of where they are at

Try scheduling appointments with counselors at a few different colleges and talking to them about which courses might help.
I, myself, would think that cultural classes to do with Zimbabwe or other close or similar countries might help. As well as sociology classes. A degree in Social Work may help as well.
You should maybe contact a few places in Zimbabwe even and ask some questions you have. Maybe you could search online to find people who already do what you want to do, whether they are in the USA or elsewhere, they could let you know how they did it. Good luck!

You should learn about programs that might be in Zimbabwe now. You should plan to get a college degree, possibly in psychology or something to do with adolescent behavior. You might also look into joining the peace corps or a church program working there, so you have experience overseas. It would be good to also have experience with that kind of home here in the US, you can start as a volunteer. Good luck!
