I think a perfect world would be one where every race was mixed with every other.

Not necessarily. I am multiracial and spent the majority of my life in VA and NC. I was adopted, as were all the children in my family, from Korea and came to the states in 1963. Being half Korean and half Caucasion was pretty rough in the south back then. My fantastic adoptive parents were Caucasion and now both have passed away. They gave us--4 of us--the best of everything. What they couldn't do was protect us from the ignorance and cruelty of others, kids and adults, who would call us names and make fun of us. We lived in an all white community and went to schools where we were the only minority kids except for one African American family. Kids can be very cruel and unfortunately, they learn it from their parents. I am ashamed now to say that back then, I was embarrassed by the way I looked and wished I had blond hair and blue eyes. We moved to Illinois when I was in Jr. Highschool and that is where I started modeling and of course, I was described as "exotic looking." I moved back to VA to finish my college at UVA, and surprisingly, I still faced some ignorant comments. I still modeled in Chicago on weekends and breaks from school. After graduating and working at a hospital in VA and then later in NC, I was described by some as exotic and others still would ask me what I was, or was I Japanese or Hawaiian. I still love the south, esp. VA, and I will always call it home because it is a beautiful place and most of the people there are kind and intelligent, but I will never forgive the south for making a little girl ashamed of who she was and the cruel ignorance that still exists there, although the south does not hold a monopoly for ignorance and racism and bigotry. I continued my modeling career there and was moderately sucessful for looking "exotic and different" because it sold. I stood out from the blond hair, blue eyed girls. I modeled for 25yrs just by looking different and considered beautiful and exotic but still got called racist names by grown people who should have known better. Sometimes I think that dinosaurs still roam the earth.
I moved to CA and BIG SURPRISE---I blended in with everyone else! I loved it ! I don't model anymore because mainly, I'm older but I don't look any different from all the other wonderful, beautiful people here of all races, ethnicities, mixes, and they look "EXOTIC" but American.

It doesnt matter really..i think its beautiful to be of different cultures and you had to adapt at everything in one go. well it really depends on good genes though. Its funny how people tend to look at you more often thinking you're a natural beauty for being exotic. Like I say good genes, baby. It doesn't matter what ethicinity you belong to.

Studies have been done. They used pictures of equally ranked attractive women, and they used a composite of these pictures of women and men of many races. and most people thought that the multi racial composites were more attractive than others. So the result is that the most attractive people tend to be those that have features that are at or near the average of all features on earth. or at least thats what a majority of people feel.

May be but no hard and fast Rule cannot be formed.. .. I do not think there exists any such scientific proof of this .. exceptions are every where but that cannot be taken in general.

I agree with Regina.
Heck, I'm as pale as could be, and I've been called "exotic" before.

I don't think that it is the race that makes a person "exotic," but the actual person that is exotic.
