It always has been in Wisconsin thanks to Tommy Thompson.Partial birth abortions are the most disgusting thing mankind{what an oxymoron} has ever come up with. There HAS to be some other alternative even to save a mothers life.I don't believe it IS to save a mothers life.Because if it was they would just allow the baby to be born and work to save it.I see absolutely NO REASON for a partial birth abortion other than a selective measure.Jail time is all I think when I hear of partial birth abortion.

I am a pro choice liberal and I agree with this ruling alltogether. Most developed countries allow abortion within the first trimester and if for safety reasons in the second. I have no idea why it is necessary to wait until a baby is viable outside the womb to yank it out and kill it.
That said - don't get overexcited. A woman's right to choose is still well and truly law and this decision has no bearing on Roe vs Wade. It merely removes one option that sickens everyone I know.

definite, the ruling upholds the ban on partial start abortions. The court docket replaced into reviewing the constitutionality of it and governed that it does no longer violate a woman's rights. while you're unaware what the technique is, it relatively is vile. an particularly much finished term toddler is partly introduced, previously the top is faraway from the mummy, the wellbeing care expert inserts a needle in its head and kills it. Thank goodness this ban replaced into upheld.

I'm not.. I am glad that you feel the need to be excited when countless women can now be dead because of this ruling. There are medical reasons behind late term. Most that make it that far into pregnancy and have to terminate do so for the LIFE of the mother. So let me ask how your little fundamentalist mind can be so excited about the impending deaths of women who develop LIFE THREATENING illnesses in late term pregnancy?????

Not really.

It was the only form of abortion used to save pregnant women injured in auto accidents.

They should have banned all other procedures.

Now we will need to pass laws the pregnant women can not drive or ride close to an airbag. When those bags go off it crushes the baby.

Go Team Bush Go

I don't get "excited" about these kinds of laws. But I do recognize that this particular law is basically what you have claimed: it is indeed the "first step" in changing public attitudes toward abortion. At least, it might be. Then again, it might not result in any other significant changes in the public attitude.

dam straight. I personally hate all abortions , but on principal I cant impose that belief on others because its purely a religious thing. But partial birth = bs. If the baby has a chance of sentients then you have no right to kill it and it ceases being your body and begins being your babies.

I didn't know it was illegal, but I'm glad if that's the case.

All the cowardly irresponsible people out there who would prefer to sacrifice a life for their own convenience won't be happy I'm sure.

Or all the Doctor Mengeles out there who will no longer be able to make money killing babies.

Be happy if the time should come with the doctors following the law, and deciding on saving the abnormal child in your womb over your life! :-)

How can you be excited over the prospect that women no longer have a right to their own bodies?

Have you no shame?
