Do you think everyone has a talent? Lately I've been finding it hard to believe that I actually have a talent. Alot of my friends are amazing singers and artists and are great with people. I am completely tone deaf, I can't even draw a straight line, and I'm not all that great with people. All the things that I can do aren't just.... natural. For instance I ride and show horses. But that isn't just a talent. I've taken riding lesson apon riding lesson. I learned how to ride. It wasn't just natural. I would so so so so kill to sing or draw. I reallllyy want to sing. I can hear it in my head but all that comes out is.... a disgusting screech. It annoys the heckkkkk out of me. So, do you think that everyone has a talent??

You don't think it's a talent to guide and direct a horse into putting on the best performance it can? I was taught how to ride but I could never get the animal to do exactly what I wanted and to show any respect to me.
Drawing and singing are nice but if everyone could, there'd be no audiences for either. You need to look at what you can do, not what you can't.

I dont think everyone does. I am too normal, like its scary. I guess if being boring is a talent thats mine. When I think of talent though I think of like natural ability at something. I have always been athletic, but never the best. I am smart, but not the smartest. Then I think, there is such a wide range of things to be talented at, so I guess you just have to find yours. I havent found mine yet.

I think that everyone learns to do everything. People with a natural talent most often simply learned to do it so early in life that is has been that way in all of their memories. For example, I can't sing worth a darn either but one of my friends is a vocal major and I found that most of his family is into singing and that when he was young his parents would often sing to him. I think it was this early exposure that helped him exceed in vocals. If you want to learn to sing you probably need to start off relearning all the basic vocal abilities, and put years in before you reach the same level your friends "naturally" are.

I absolutely think everyone has a talent. I didn't discover my talent until I was 27. Hang in there, you'll find it one day!

Confidence can be a talent in itself, have confidence in yourself and maybe you'll find what you're good at and not your friends.
