How did WTC7 collapse into it's own footprint at freefall speed when it was not hit by a plane?

What is the official version of events on th WTC7 demolition ?

As the first answerer said, there is NO official version. Both NTSB & FEMA said that it was fire, but they also said it was very low probability.

As you can see from most of the other answerers here who support the official version, they either insult you for your stupidity (I'd say intelligence), or they give amateur guesses ("Well, 7 hours is a long enough time for fire to burn down a steel building.")

Yeah, non jet fuel fire, and only burning in a couple places, they were small fires, and yes there WERE firefighters in the building, and they were told to get out because "it was going to fall", AND Larry Silverstein publicly said on TV that "they decided to pull it". And no, it was NOT an empty building (except when it collapsed of course, because everyone was warned to get out), because it housed offices & floors for the SEC, the DoD, CIA, and even Giuliani's emergency command bunker, and Giuliani & his team were evacuated 7 hours earlier because they were "told" it was going to collapse.

Even "stranger", the BBC reported on Live TV that WTC 7 collapsed EVEN BEFORE IT ACTUALLY DID.

So obviously, many answerers who don't believe 911 was an Inside Job, actually are completely clueless about its details - they don't know jack because they haven't done any research on it. Anybody who's done solid research on 911 can totally blow away those who haven't done any at all.

Um, because all 3 homes DID give way into their very personal footprints, at close to freefall %, in the front of many, many cameras. What pictures were you gazing in which this did not ensue? Are you going to inform me all that pictures became doctored by some shadowy crew of "truthers"? Now it really is a tinfoil hat idea if i have ever heard one. You type of responded your individual question. you're willfully ignorant. And in some unspecified time sooner or later of your know-how, you need to understand that. isn't it awesome how psychological projection works? Do you comprehend that you in hassle-free words denied what all of us observed with our personal eyes? It collapsed on itself because that's how it was designed. At some point, they started designing buildings like that in large cities, so that a falling building wouldn't cause mass amounts of damage. The towers also collapsed on themselves, which can't happen unless they were designed that way.

Some claim it was due to controlled detonation. A controlled detonation like that takes time to set up, and a lot of explosives. Surely someone would have noticed that. don't know the specifics of WTC 7, but it has to do with the weight an pressure forced on it by the collapse of the two towers. If you get in touch with the editors of Popular Mechanics, I'm sure they'll be gladd to share their report with you.

it was an empty building that burned for like 8 hours without any attention from fire crews. that's long enough for any structure to collapse. the steel girders on the L.A. freeway bridge took a LOT less time to collapse.
