Apparently! My husband has only 'let' me mow the lawn once in 17 years of marriage. Think I'll cry myself a river and get over it.

Not an expert, but there are some who say there is some benefit in changing the direction of how you cut it.

They claim it is better on the grass or something. Don't see how, but I know it is done on golf courses where the greens are, but that is a different application than your average yard.

Anybody can cut grass...even a lowly gnome. LOL

you're suppose to take a collage course for mowing the lawn unfortunately most people don't do this so its never done right...

no expertise is needed to mow your lawn, just a little effort from you is required

no. it takes someone who cares about what they are doing. if you get the wrong person, they can cut your grass to short or make it look spotty. if you get someone with experience and someone who takes pride in what they do . the person cutting your grass can cut it cross - cut a very interesting design.
