I want to get DSL now for my Win 98 computer. When I buy a new Vista computer in a few months, is there anything special I need to do to get it hooked up to the new computer?

Yes you can but with widows 98 you won't be able to download the extra software but it isn't required (browser messenger jukebox anti-virus ect.)

with dsl the connection is made on the mode via pppoe
this means it doesn't matter your operating system

Everything you need will come with your DSL package. When you get your new computer you will need to install the software again on the new computer, but nothing else....
